  Working nearby, I can often smell the chefs prepping here and I've eaten a few times before (onion bhaji's are on another level).
  
  Firstly, the popadum dips were top, top notch. Especially mango chutney and mint yoghurt. None were watered down at all, which is a refreshing change.
  
  Mains-wise is where it's unexpected and rewarding in that you can tell the dishes are made in a more traditional, home-made way. This isn't what I've experienced in many similar restaurants - which may be serving Anglicised versions of dishes - but here, the food was complex and you can tell it's more traditional and so makes for a different experience.
  
  Thanks to Reddy and the staff for the strong service despite being busy and brave menu with unusual options (enjoyed chorizo chicken curry on this occasion)
