  Decided to visit Carluccio's on our annual two night break in York, as it was a new addition to the city.
  I ordered the roasted butternut squash with roasted vegetables, my husband had the vegetarian pizza.
  Although both enjoyable, they weren't anything special considering this restaurant is owned by a very high profile Italian chef,so was expecting to be "wowed "but wasn't.
  
  The wine was however brought to the table just at the correct temperature, which is always a plus. Service was prompt and efficient, no problem there.
  Would probably visit again, if the menu took our interest.
