  Me and my housemate were renting with them for a year fixed contract and they were great throughout, especially when it came to when we had to move out.
  
  We had some massive issues with finding a new place and they were all super helpful, especially Charis who was the one i dealt with the most. she was lovely and I felt like she was very invested in everything that was happening. I don't think we would of come out of it in as good a way as we did without her!
  
  Massive thanks to you guys for all the help you have been throughout!!

  I am very disappointed with this company. I paid over the odds as I thought this would be reflected in service. Needless to say it wasn’t.
  
  Coalters placed a tenant in my property back in May. I paid for a tenant find service which includes reference checks however this tenant was not throughly checked. I was assured this tenant was the best option and that he was a “great tenant”. He signed contracts and moved into the property a week later for me to find out he had debt collectors on his case and he could not afford to pay any rent. I asked Coalters to help in which they replied with, “if you would like further assistance with this tenant we would be happy to help if you upgrade to our fully managed service” in which I would have had to pay them a percentage of rent which I was not receiving.
  
  7 months later I have finally gone through the courts and evicted this tenant, with no help from Coalters. I have lost 7 months rent plus the cost of legal fees and I am now left with red letters from energy providers, York city council etc as none of these have been paid.
  
  I would seriously advise landlords not to use Coalters as I feel they were too quick to get their commission and have no remorse for any actions post payment. I understand I chose a tenant find only option and this was not managed by Coalters (thank god!) however I felt as an agent they did not carry out their due diligence and could not wait to wash their hands of me. I will not be using them again or recommending them to any of my friends and family.
